The 28th of June, the date when the treaty between the Allied and Associated Powers and defeated Germany was signed at Versailles, will be commemorated in all German Jewish synagogues, according to a decision adopted by the “General Association of Rabbis in Germany.”
On the 5th anniversary of the Peace Treaty, prayers and assemblies will be held in the synagogues as well as in all the churches in Germany, and special stresswill be laid on refuting the charge that Germany was responsible for the outbreak of the war.
