The Stockholm correspondent of the Daily Herald reports today that a group of German Jews are planning to present to the United Nations a plan for the creation of a Jewish state within the borders of Germany.
The originators of the proposal are reported to feel that because of the obstacles in the way of securing a Jewish state in Palestine, it would be more feasible to set one up in the area between the east bank of the Oder from Stettin to Kustrin or Frankfurt, along the Warthe and from there to kolberg on the Baltic coast. The sponsors claim that they could secure sufficient capital to erect factories and take other measures to ensure employment.
