The Executive Committee of the Social Democratic Party of West Germany adopted a resolution urging international guarantees for the borders of all Middle East nations, including Israel.
The resolution criticized use of the United Nations as a forum for accusations by one nation against another. It said the international body should be the agency for consultation on plans which take into consideration the economic interests vital to all Middle East countries.
