Ewald Keen, a German teacher employed in a school in Tchernigov, Ukraine, has given 3,000 rubles for the upbuilding of the Jewish autonomous region, Biro-Bidjan, it was announced here.
Keen had won 10,000 rubles in a lottery sponsored by Ozet, Soviet Jewish organization for settling Jews on the land. He then announced his gift.
