The Tel Aviv municipality today released a message from the president of the province of Thuringia, in the Soviet zone of Germany, asking it to inform former Thuringian Jews now living in Palestine that they are entitled to receive compensation for immovable property they left behind. The measage stated that the Jews will receive compensation even in cases where they sold their property under duress.
