Responsible West Germans are fighting the resurgence of anti-Semitism in the country by organizing activities especially among the German youth.
A group of youths here announced today that an exhibit on anti-Semitism and its disastrous consequences during the Hitler regime is being organized for showing in major cities throughout the Federal Republic. The project is receiving the support of the Berlin. State Institution for Political Education, under the sponsorship of West Berlin’s Mayor Willy Brandt.
A further manifestation of the fight against anti-Semitism was seen here today in an announcement by the German Students Association, which has just held a meeting at Marburg, that it is organizing a demonstration against anti-Semitism to be conducted in May at the site of the former Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Similar student demonstrations will be held at the same time on the campuses of all leading universities and colleges throughout the Federal Republic.
