The German Red Cross has donated $1 million to the families of the Israeli athletes murdered in Munich. The funds were channeled through the Magen David Adom headquarters here. Dr. Joseph Kott, chairman of the Magen David Adom, said that the Japanese Red Cross has sent $770,000 for the families of the 10 Israelis killed and the 40 Israelis wounded at the Lod massacre last May. Part of the Japanese donation will be also used for general activities and humanitarian purposes that are to be selected jointly by the Magen David Adom and the Japanese Red Cross.
