Germans look upon Hitler as the exponent of a “New Deal”, but the new deal means only a reign of terror for the Jews, according to Dr. Frank Nowak, professor of history at Boston University, in a letter from Europe, where he is now on Sabbatical leave. “The lot of the Jews in Germany is truly pitiful,” Dr. Nowak wrote. “Stories of maltreatment carried in our American newspapers are mild in comparison with the actual facts.”
