The West German Interior Ministry announced today that visa requirements for visiting Israelis have been abolished. However, a West German visiting Israel will still need a visa under West German passport requirements.
It was also indicated that citizens of all ten Arab countries which broke off relations recently with West Germany when Bonn recognized Israel, who previously did not need visas to enter West Germany, must now have them.
