Israel’s fears that the German Government has changed its attitude of support of the German-Israel reparations pact are ill founded, it was indicated here today in West German Foreign Office circles.

Meanwhile, in Cologne, the Israel “purchasing mission” established to expedite the procurement of goods and services for Israel under the terms of the reparations treaty, has published a “White Book” replying to Arab arguments against German ratification of the treaty. The statement rejects the Arab threats of a boycott of German trade, asserting that not even the Arabs who make the threats take them seriously since the Arabs have more to lose from such a boycott than the Germans.

The Israel Government recognizes German patents and trade marks, the West German Patent Office revealed here today. It stated that since the beginning of the year, German citizens have enjoyed the same patent rights in Israel as other foreign nationals.
