The 9,500-ton “Har Tabor, ” a reparations-pact freighter built for Tel Aviv’s “Tramp Ships, Ltd. ” by West Germany’s largest shipyard and designed to haul 14, 450 tons of bulk cargo, was launched here today. Tramp Ships, Ltd is an affiliate of “El-Yam. “
William Scholz, director of the shipyard, said that the first stage in German ship construction for the Israel reparations account had been concluded with the launching of the Har Tabor.
