The West German Finance Ministry plans to raise indemnification pensions by 15 percent, State Secretary Karl Hettlage announced today during debate in the Bonn Lower House.

The pensions will be adjusted to an increase granted in two installments in recent months to civil servants. The additional boost will be granted in the form of a seven percent increase to be provided retroactively as of June 4,1960 and an eight percent increase as of January 4,1961. The proposal still must be approved by the Bonn Upper House.
