The German authorities are now selling to Swiss printing firms many founts of Jewish type which they, confiscated in Warsaw, Vilna and other cities in Poland famous for their Jewish printing establishments, it was disclosed here today.
A Swiss print shop which received an order for the publication of Jewish prayer books, which are difficult to secure in Europe at present, could find no Hebrew type in any of the Swiss foundries. The firm placed an order with an agent in Berlin and the type arrived within a few days.
