Germany sent a first group of officer cadets for military training in Israel. The 17 cadets, who began their stay with a visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem, will spend three weeks participating in training exercises alongside Israeli soldiers. The cooperative project comes after the German army was rocked by a series of neo-Nazi incidents during the past year.
