The Ditch Jewish Restitution Committee (JOKOS) has reached an agreement with the West German Government to pay compensation for the furniture of Dutch Jews confiscated by the Nazis and shipped to Germany.
Payment will be made to the original owners or their heirs. The Dutch Ministry of Finance announced that it would not demand repayment of subsidies it has paid to victims whose furniture was stolen by the Nazis.
