Germany will press Tehran for the quick release of 13 Iranian Jews charged with spying for Israel and the United States, Germany’s foreign minister said Wednesday. Germany, which currently holds the rotating presidency of the European Union, is “gravely concerned” about their arrests, Joschka Fischer added. Meanwhile, five members of the U.S. House of Representatives introduced a congressional resolution on Tuesday condemning the arrests.
