Germany’s chancellor backed preliminary efforts for a Christian-Muslim-Jewish dialogue. In a meeting Tuesday with Rabbi Israel Singer, chairman of the World Jewish Congress, Angela Merkel said she supports setting up a study group to work on such dialogue efforts, the congress said in a news release.
