Germany’s foreign minister is in Israel for meetings with Israeli and Palestinian leaders on jump-starting the peace process. Joschka Fischer, who arrived in Israel on Saturday night, was expected to meet with Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Mahmoud Abbas, the frontrunner for the Palestinian Authority presidency, Israeli media reported.
