Gerson Named Vice-president of Nebraska Social Worker

Samuel Gerson, executive director of the Jewish Welfare Federation and the Jewish Community Center, was elected first vice-president of the Nebraska Conference of Social Work at the closing session of the conference in Hastings, Neb. Mr. Gerson’s paper on “The Future of the State Conference” outlined a long-time program of development for the conference. Henry Monsky, president of the Omaha Community Chest and a prominent worker in national and international Jewish affairs, delivered the closing address of the conference.
