Inmates of several Jewish orphan asylums and hoses for the aged in Berlin were ejected by Gestapo agents after being given only twenty-four hours’ notice to leave the premises, the Berlin correspondent of the Svenska Dagbladet reports today.
At the same time the Gestapo raided the only Jewish hospital in Berlin a confiscated its entire food stores. Two German storekeepers were sentenced to the years at hard labor and fined 70,000 marks each, for selling rationed food to a Jewish boarding house, the Swedish correspondent also reports today.
