Arrangements are being made for a military mission to be sent by the United Arab Republic to Ghana “in the very near future,” it was announced here today by the Ghana Mission to the United Nations.
The announcement followed an exchange of messages between Ghana President Kwame Nkrumah and U. A. R. President Gamal Abdel Nasser in which the possibility was discussed of a joint U. A. R. military force to be put at the disposal of Congo Premier Patrice Lumumba.
