–Gilbert Bettman, Cincinnati attorney, was elected Attorney General of the State of Ohio by a comfortable majority. Mr. Bettman ran on the Republican ticket.
Mr. Bettman has been active in state and city politics and public welfare for a number of years. He was born in Cincinnati, Oct. 31, 1891. In 1921 he was elected vice-mayor of the city of Cincinnati. He served as member of the City Survey Committee, the Citizens Traction Committee, and was permanent chairman of the Republican State Convention in 1924.
He is vice-president of the Legal Aid Society and is a member of the Ohio State and Cincinnati Bar Associations.
