At a press conference called for members of the foreign press, Captain Herman Goering, Prussian Minister of the Interior, gave vent to a violent utterance against the anti-Nazi protest movement which is spreading throughout the world. In a reference directed particularly at the wave of indignation in the United States, he asks: “Do you think that it is advisable for the people of the United States to indulge in the protest about which we have read, in which Protestants join with Jews to discuss German affairs? Do you think it is healthy for the Jews in this country when newspapers outside Germany carry headlines with ‘Judah Unites Against Germany’?”
