By Christmas time Adolf Hitler may lose his life through Hermann Goering, air minister, G. Harrison Brown, British journalist, predicted on a visit here to Mayor Hoan.

Brown, who has been forbidden to reenter Germany because of his anti-Hitlerite writings, pointed out that “Goering is consumed with ambitions to get into Hitler’s chair; Hitler may meet death by Christmas.”

Hitlerism was described by Brown as a front for Fritz Thyssen, armament maker and head of the German steel trust.

“Thyssen has used Hitlerism to install industrial feudalism,” Brown added. “He is turning Germany into a state in which the worker is just a serf with a gun at his head.”

Both revolt and war were pictured by Brown as inevitable for Germany. He pointed out that Goering’s greatest dream is an aero-chemical war and that Goering is confident Germany would be unbeatable in conflict because it is a nation of technicians.
