Dr. Octavian Goga, a leader of the anti-Semitic National Christian Party, was today appointed professor of Modern Rumanian Culture at the University of Cluj in recognition of his “Nationalist activities and merits as a poet.”
The appointment, signed by the Ministry of Education, elevates Dr. Goga, who hitherto had held no academic position, to a full-grade professor of the highest paid rank.
