Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s former Foreign Minister, arrived from Israel today to launch an international campaign to raise $105, 000, 000 in 1966 for Israel’s economic development through the sale of State of Israel bonds.
The formal inauguration of the 1966 Israel bond campaign will take place this weekend in Miami Beach at a conference which will be attended by some 2, 000 delegates from the United States and Canada. Mrs. Meir will be the guest of honor at the culminating dinner of the three-day parley which will be in the form of a tribute to her four decades of leadership in the settlement and establishment of the State of Israel.
