Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister was deeply moved when she was presented here with the Henrietta Szold centennial award for public service. The presentation was made by Mrs. S. Kramarsky, president of Hadassah, at the centenary session of the World Zionist Congress.

Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Zionist Organization, eulogized the founder of the Youth Aliyah movement. He also extended greetings to the jubilee celebrants such as Lord Samuel, 90, Yosef Baratz, Peretz Bernstein, Dr. Avraham Granott and Yosef Weitz, all 70. Mrs. Meir’s award entitles her to choose a student from abroad for a year’s study under a fellowship in her name.
