Israel’s Foreign Minister Golda Meir, who is now on a visit in the United States, will discuss the Eichmann case tomorrow with Argentina’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Dr. Mario Amadeo, who returned here today from Buenos Aires bearing his Government’s latest instructions on the case. Argentina’s grievance against Israel was presented to the UN Security Council this weekend in a letter from Argentina’s charge’ d’affaires here, Dr. Raul A.J. Quijano.
On instructions of his Government, Dr. Quijano appended the note sent to Israel last week, in which Argentine demanded that Eichmann be returned in a week, warring that, otherwise, the case would be taken to the Security Council, However, it was noted here, the Quijano note did not request a meeting of the Council on the issue, but only requested that the documents be circulated to all members of the Council as an official paper.
