Premier Golda Meir of Israel will visit Washington as President Richard M. Nixon’s official guest on Sept. 25-26, White House spokesman Ronald Zeigler announced today. He gave no further details.
It was learned that Mrs. Meir will visit the Jewish communities of New York City and Los Angeles and possibly other major cities. Her stay in the United States, sources said, is not expected to be a long one. Arrangements for the whole visit will be announced when they are completed. Her trip to the U.S. and meetings with Mr. Nixon will be her first as Premier.
