Prominent leaders joined in paying tribute to Abraham Goldberg, writer, orator and Zionist leader, at a fiftieth birthday celebration held in his honor last night at Town Hall.
Morris Rothenberg, president of the Zionist Organization of America, lauded Mr. Goldberg’s work in American Zionist activities. Other speakers included Rabbi Isra## Goldstein, president of the Jew## National Fund; Rabbi Wolf G## president of the Mizrachi; Rev. Masliansky, Jewish author; Mrs. Moses P. Epstein, Judge William M. Lewis, of Philadelphia; Elihu D. Stone, president of the New England Zionist Region; Peter Wiernik, editor of the Jewish Morning Journal, and Isaac Allen, Nasi emeritus of the Order of Sons of Zion.
A musical program was presented by Edis Phillips, soprano; Julictte Mirova, pianist, and Saul Kossovsky, violinist. Mine. Miriam Goldina presented readings in Hebrew.
