Solomon Goldman, president of the Zionist Organization of America, told a press conference here today that American Jewry generally feels that the British Government “has not played and is not playing fair” with Palestine Jewry.
“The longer terrorism continues,” he declared, “The more intense this feeling will be. Many Americans cannot understand why military forces are unable to end the terrorism, so it is pointed out in Zionist circles that America herself is unable to end gangsterism.” Dr. Goldman, who is here on a survey of the Palestine situation, said he would be “grievously disappointed” if a referendum in America did not show a great majority in favor of proposed partition of Palestine.
