Dr. Nahum Goldmann, in his capacity as president of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, had a number of conferences here this weekend with top-ranking German officials on matters concerning compensation to Nazi victims.
Dr. Goldmann met with Chancellor Ludwig Erhard, Finance Minister Rolf Dahlgruen, and the Finance Ministry’s indemnification expert Dr. F. De La Croix. He also met with former Chancellor Conrad Adenauer, Dr. Goldmann suggested that a conference on indemnification problems be held next October with the participation of Chancellor Erhard, Mr. Dahlgruen ard the leaders of West Germany’s three major political parties.
