Professor Alfons Goldschmidt, exiled from Germany by the Nazi regime, will deliver the first of a series of lectures on conditions there to the Manhattan-Washington Lodge of the B’nal B’rith on Thursday evening, March 29, at their clubhouse, 36 West Sixty-ninth street.
Professor Goldschmidt, who was widely known in Germany as a specialist in economics, will deal particularly with the situation of the Jews in Germany since the tenth century, explaining how they fared under various rulers.
