That the country has never needed Y.M.H.A. and communal centers more than it does today was the assertion made by Dr. Philip R. Goldstein, of the Jewish Welfare Board, New York, before the board of directors of the Y.M. and Y.W.H.A.
Following Dr. Goldstein’s address, the board voted that the “Y” affiliate itself both with the Jewish Welfare Board and the Pennsylvania and Middle Atlantic States Federation of Y.M. and Y.W.H.A. groups. Application for membership in both organizations will be made immediately.
Dr. Goldstein was the guest of the board yesterday and will meet with the advisory board of the “Y” in an effort to plan the budget of the “Y” and to secure a trained secretary.
