At the annual meeting of the Jewish Welfare Fund last week J. A. Goodman was again elected president. Mr. Goodman has headed the Fund since its establishment in 1927. Louis Wolf was reelected vice-president; Samuel Mueller, treasurer, and Samuel Frommer, secretary.
Albert S. Goldstein was re-appointed chairman of the budget committee; Ralph Bamberger was again named chairman of the finance committee; and Jacob H. Wolf was re-elected chairman of collections.
The Jewish Welfare Fund is now aiding more than seventy institutions and its requirements will be $104,170 for the 1930 fiscal year. Of this sum $25,000 has been appropriated to the Allied Jewish Campaign.
