Goodman Named Head of Bronx Yeshivath

After serving three successive terms as president of the board of directors of the Rabbi Israel Salanter Yeshivath of the Bronx, Washington Avenue and 170th Street, Morris Messeloff yielded the position to Jacob Goodman, who was executive four years ago, at the annual elections of the board. Rabbi Solomon Reichman, A. M. Goldsmith and L. Pisetzner were named vice-presidents.

Max Turoff and L. J. Schaff were re-elected treasurer and recording secretary, Samuel B. Twersky financial secretary; Alexander Rosenberg, chairman of the administrative committee; Fischel Jezer, chairman of the Hebrew Board of Education; Irving Auerbach, president of the Parents’ Association; Mrs. F. R. Kastine, president of the Ladies’ Auxiliary.

The fifteenth anniversary banquet will be held March 4 at the Concourse Plaza Hotel. Leon Fuchs is the guest of honor.
