The evidence against Gorbach, 35, consists of applications for migration to Israel and writings on Jewish themes–all, according to the sources, confiscated on an unauthorized search, The sources said the authorities interrogated 90 persons with a view toward having them appear as prosecution witnesses, but none agreed to incriminate Gorbach. The defendant himself. the sources said, was denied the opportunity to summon witnesses in his behalf.
