Mr. and Mrs. Davis Salomons of Paris announce the engagement of their daughter, Jacqueline, to Dr. Moses Einhorn of New York.
Miss Salomons is a French violinist of talent who made her American debut in the Town Hall three years ago. She received the first prize at the Paris Conservatoire, where she studied with Jules Bouceret and Yvonne Astruc, and her instructors as well as the critics and the public predict for her a brilliant artistic career.
In his own chosen field Dr. Einhorn enjoys similar prestige. He is at present in Paris, where the wedding will take place next May.
Another interesting engagement is that of Miss Doris Lynes Isaacs, daughter of Mrs. Albert Isaacs of Far Rockaway, Queens, and the late Mr. Isaacs, to Henry Abraham of Woodmere, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Abraham of New York and New Orleans. An early autumn wedding is planned.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Feist of Mount Vernon are the parents of a son, born on the last day of July at the Doctors’ Hospital. Miss Feist is the former Miss Beatrice Friedman of Montreal. The child will be named for his grandfather, the late Leo Feist, the music publisher.
A November wedding is planned by Miss Paula Hollinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hollinger of 25 Central Park West, whose engagement to Dr. Arthur Rosenthal of 320 Central Park West has just been announced. Miss Hollinger is a graduate of the Benjamin Dean School and attended Columbia University. Dr. Rosenthal, a son of Philip Rosenthal of Bridgeport, Conn., and the late Mrs. Rosenthal is a Columbia graduate and received his medical training at McGill University. He is an attending surgeon at Sydenham Hospital.
Miss Pearl Jasie, the daughter of the Ivriah leader, Mrs. William Jasie, will be married to Ira Walsey on August 26. The couple will live in Washington, where Mr. Walsey occupies a prominent position. Both are summering at Deal.
Miss Shirley Adelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. Adelson of New York, was married to Bernard Schmuckler, also of this city, on Tuesday night at the Waldorf Astoria. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. Isaac Goldstein. Mr. and Mrs. Schmuckler sailed for a wedding trip to Bermuda. After their return they will live in New York.
