Gov. Horner to Eulogize Lincoln at Birthday Fete in Springfield

Gov. Henry Hornor will deliver an address at the Lincoln tomb at Springfield and place a wreath on the monument on the February 12 birthday anniversary.

Coincident with this announcement, Federal Judge Chas. Briggle, president of the Midday Club here, yesterday reported that the scheduled itermational celebration of Lincoln’s birthday has been canceled. The program was to have been featured by the presence of distimguished guested and foreign diplomats, including the French envoy and the Geman representative, Dr. Hans Luther.
