A “League for Anti-Zionist Struggle,” which was formed in Iraq some time ago by a group of unknown Jews, after the Government was unable to persuade the Bagdad Jewish community to issue an anti-Zionist statement, has been dissolved the “Voice of Israel” radio said today. The broadcast added that several members of the league have been arrested.
Meanwhile, it is reported from the Iraq capital that in the Iraqi delegation going to Cairo to testify before the Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry on Palestine is included a Jewish member of the Senate who will speak against Jewish aims in Palestine.
