For the first time in the history of Rumania the government is providing support for a Jewish theatre, which presented its opening ###formance here last night. The support is toeing furnished on the same basis as ### extended to other national minorities in the country.Ion Pas, Minister of Arts and Gheorghe Vasilichi, Secretary of State in the ##istry of Education, attended the first night performance which featured Sholem ###chem’s “Two Hundred Thousand.” The theatre vas completely rebuilt with financial ###stance from the government, the Jewish Democratic Committee end the Joint Distri#ion Committee.
