The international conference of non-governmental organizations interested in migration, in which Jewish organizations participated, concluded its session here with a resolution calling upon governments to abolish all discriminatory immigration legislation and practices.

The conference, which took place under the joint sponsorship of the United Nations and the International Labor Organization, also adopted a resolution urging governments as well as inter-governmental and private agencies, to support the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Other resolutions asked for the removal of obstacles to migration, adherence to international recommendations on migration, studies of migration problems and the assurance of favorable social and other advantages for immigrants.
