Governor Herbert H. Lehman and Mayor Fiorello H. LaGuardia have been invited to address the state convention of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States, to be held March 24 and 25 at Hunts Point Palace, the Bronx, it was announced yesterday by J. David Delman, state department commander, who will preside over the session.

The convention will open with a ball and pageant on the evening of March 24. Election of officers will take place the next day and a boycott committee will present its program.

RABBI J. B. WISE ON TOUR

The plight of German Jewry will be described to a number of American Jewish communities by Rabbi Jonah B. Wise, chairman of the national fund raising committee of the Joint Distribution Committee, who began a speaking tour yesterday at Greensboro, North Carolina. On subsequent dates, Dr. Wise will speak in Atlanta, Birmingham, New Orleans, Houston, Dallas and St. Louis.

Another tour on behalf of the German Relief Fund will be undertaken by Rabbi L. Elliot Grafman of Tremont Temple, who will visit Jacksonville, Tampa and Miami during the latter part of March.
