Governor Robert Kerrey has signed into law a bill which seeks to outlaw paramilitary organizations from training in the state. The governor’s action on the bill, based upon model legislation drafted by the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith, makes Nebraska the 12th state to enact such legislation. The action is in response to reported increases in the activities of anti-Semitic and racist groups in the region, ADL officials said.
