The mid-year conference of the Board of Governors of the Israel Bond Organization will be held on Friday, June 5 and Saturday evening June 6, and will pay tribute to Prime Minister Levi Eshkol, it was announced today by Abraham Feinberg, president of the Israel Bond Organization. The conference will be held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.
Approximately 500 Jewish leaders from all parts of the United States and Canada will participate in the tribute to Mr. Eshkol, who for 11 years prior to assuming the premiership, served as Israel’s Minister of Finance and was the chief architect of its economic growth. The Israel Premier will be the guest of honor at the second and final session, which will be held in the form of a tribute dinner on Saturday evening, June 6.
