During the coming year the rabbis who are graduates of the Yeshivah College will endeavor to raise $50,000 for the support of the institution, according to a resolution adopted Wednesday at the final session of the second annual convention of the Rabbinical Association of the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. The convention was attended by more than 100 graduates of the Yeshivah.
The convention also decided to admit as members of the Rabbinical Association orthodox rabbis who are graduates from other seminaries besides the Yeshivah. Resolutions supporting the work of the Jewish Agency and calling upon the rabbis for a more intensified campaign for religious education in this country were also adopted.
The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: president, Rabbi N. H. Ebin of Brooklyn; vice-presidents, Rabbi M. J. Charlop of the Bronx and Rabbi A. Burack of Brooklyn; secretary-treasurer, Rabbi S. Reichman of the Bronx.
