Among the speakers at the dedication of a tablet in memory of the late Judge Max S. Levine by the Grand Street Boys’ Association last night was Bernard S. Deutsch, president of the Board of Alderman. Other speakers included Judges Cornelius Collins and Peter Schmuck, Joseph Levinson, chairman of the Association, and Harry Sobel president.
A number of songs were offered by Rhea Sparag, the dedication concluding with a prayer by Rev. P. Jassinowsky of the 86th Street Synagogue. Mayor Fiorello H. LaGuardia was unable to attend because of illness.
