The paper this week published a front-page article attacking the plan to return property left heirless through Nazi executions of the Salonica Jewish men and women. The paper charged that the Jewish organization set up by the government to administer the heirless property is “exerting intolerable pressure” to the detriment of the Greeks who occupied property belonging to Jews deported by the Nazis to crematoria and death camps. The views of the Greek Rally party are similar to those of the de Gaulle party in France.
