Ground Broken in Brooklyn for New $4,000,000 Yeshiva Building

Groundbreaking ceremonies were held here today for the construction of a new $4,000,000 building to house the facilities of the Yeshiva Torah Vodaath and Mesifta in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn. The Yeshiva, now located in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, is attended by 1,700 students from all parts of the United States and 27 foreign countries. The new structure will be named the Harry Herskowitz School, in memory of the former chief consultant of the U. S. Internal Revenue Service.
