Ground was broken on a new Jewish community center in Moscow. At the Sunday evening event, the Federation of Jewish Communities also marked the 100th anniversary of the birth of the late Lubavitch rebbe, Menachem Schneerson. The building, which should be completed in two to three years, will be erected next to an existing synagogue.
